Customer Care Representative I

About the role

The Customer Care Representative I will serve as the first point of contact for both internal and external customers, handling phone calls, emails, and electronic data interchange (EDI) inquiries. The role focuses on delivering prompt, professional service while supporting revenue generation through adherence to productivity and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of customer phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Manage customer inquiries through the CRM system, ensuring timely case resolution.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the majority of product lines.
• Enter promotional orders and process complaints in the Oracle ERP system.
• Coordinate repairs, replacements, credits, and debits.
• Create and maintain customer accounts.
• Collaborate with logistics, trade compliance, regulatory affairs, supply chain, and sales teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in daily KPI meetings and continuous‑improvement activities under the Envista Business System.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with a professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining accuracy.
• Detail‑oriented approach to documenting cases and processing orders.
• Proactive attitude in identifying and escalating potential issues.
• Team player who can work effectively across multiple departments.

Required skills

• Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes.
