Credit Controller Representative III – Order to Cash

About the role

The Credit Controller Representative III supports the Order to Cash department by managing credit exposure and trade‑debt collection for the North America region. The role ensures timely invoice posting, accurate payment allocation, and compliance with credit limits while collaborating closely with customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a medium‑complex portfolio of customers, ensuring adherence to payment terms and credit limits using ERP systems and the Order Release Portal.
• Perform risk assessments on new and existing accounts and recommend appropriate credit limits, risk categories, and terms.
• Track unapplied and unidentified payments, allocate them accurately, and release orders on credit hold after analysis.
• Conduct financial‑statement analysis to support credit‑line increase recommendations.
• Set up credit terms for new clients, negotiate payment plans, and process credit and debit notes.
• Facilitate credit‑card payments, manage web‑billing systems, and prepare statements and reports for accounting.
• Prioritize email inbox, advise supervisors on uncollectable accounts, and support third‑party collection or legal actions.
• Participate in updating job aids, suggest process improvements, and ensure compliance with ethics and integrity standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or equivalent experience preferred.
• Consistent record in a similar credit‑control role, preferably within a shared service center.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
