Credit Controller Analyst I

About the role

We are looking for a Credit Controller Analyst I to join our finance team. In this role you will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, perform credit evaluations, and support the Order‑to‑Cash process through effective collections and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a medium‑to‑high complexity portfolio, ensuring timely collections and compliance with payment terms.
• Perform credit assessments, analyze financial statements and recommend credit limits, payment terms and risk classifications.
• Release credit‑held orders, investigate payment discrepancies and resolve invoice disputes.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and collaborate with sales, cash applications and other stakeholders to improve cash flow.
• Monitor aging reports, identify high‑risk balances and escalate to leadership or external agencies when needed.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP and collections systems (Cforia/GetPaid) and prepare account statements and reports.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members and contribute to process documentation.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Order‑to‑Cash efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in credit and collections, preferably with commercial and government accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Strong analytical mindset, detail‑oriented and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to mentor colleagues and work collaboratively across functions.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle JDE and SAP.
• Experience with CForia/GetPaid collections platform.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
