About the role

The Purchasing Coordinator ensures the timely supply of inputs and services for internal customers, optimizing total cost of ownership while complying with technical specifications and food safety standards. The role focuses on strategic sourcing, negotiation, and inventory management within a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement negotiation strategies for assigned categories, concentrating on the top 20% spend that drives 80% of costs.
• Lead regional negotiations, leveraging company volume to secure better commercial terms, efficiencies, and synergies.
• Monitor market trends, innovations, and new products to support informed purchasing decisions.
• Conduct market studies to identify risks, opportunities, and factors affecting supply chain continuity.
• Evaluate supplier performance using KPIs and periodic reviews to ensure contractual compliance, service levels, quality, and business objectives.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to foster innovation, competitiveness, and sustainability.
• Identify cost‑optimization opportunities while balancing price, quality, service, and supply continuity.
• Manage procurement processes with transparency, regulatory compliance, and alignment to corporate purchasing policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Customs, or International Trade.
• English proficiency at B2 level.
• 3–5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Experience with inventory control and SAP systems.
