About the role

Roche is seeking a Content Editor to join its Global Digital Hub’s specialized content team. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, clarity and impact of medical and healthcare content across various digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Review and edit medical content (articles, slides, newsletters, social media, websites, promotional assets) to meet brand, regulatory and Roche standards.
• Conduct fact-checking and reference verification to maintain credibility.
• Provide constructive feedback to writers and support their professional development.
• Optimize content for digital platforms using SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with writers, subject-matter experts and marketing teams to produce audience-focused material.
• Stay current with industry trends, guidelines and best practices, contributing to process improvements.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English with strong attention to detail.
• 2-4 years of editing or proofreading experience, preferably in medical, healthcare or life-science environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, life sciences or a related field (master’s degree a plus).
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as content management systems, SEO and social media platforms.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, scientific research and relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborative, customer-service oriented mindset and ability to work within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to handle multiple deadlines.
