Clinical & Care Delivery Consultant – Health Strategy

About the role

As a member of Accenture’s Health Practice, you will help shape strategy and business planning for leading healthcare clients. You will work with small to medium‑size consulting teams on projects that span commercial strategy, market scoping, go‑to‑market design and process improvement, while leveraging data‑driven insights to drive transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Support small to medium‑size consulting teams delivering management‑consulting projects for global health clients.
• Define commercial and go‑to‑market strategies, conduct market scoping and improve client processes.
• Develop proposals, pursue new business opportunities and build practice assets such as methodologies and white papers.
• Analyse complex financial and quantitative data, build forecasting models and identify transformation opportunities.
• Design operating models for one or two business units, assess competitive responses and implementation readiness.
• Lead client presentations, manage change‑management programmes and ensure stakeholder commitment.

Required profile

• 7‑12 years of experience in US healthcare consulting, with deep knowledge of the payer and/or provider value chain.
• Advanced English proficiency and willingness to travel for client engagements.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and written communication skills, including the ability to produce point‑of‑view documents.
• Experience working with US healthcare companies and familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as STARS and HEDIS.

• Data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or similar).
• Forecasting and financial modelling techniques.
• Claims and utilization management (UM) data analysis.
• Digital care and clinical operations enablement platforms.
• Data strategy and Generative AI (GenAI) for health use cases.
