Cleanroom Laundry Operator

About the role

The Cleanroom Laundry Operator works in a regulated clean‑room environment to ensure that all textile and component items are properly cleaned, inspected, and prepared for production. Under close supervision, the operator follows strict protocols to maintain ISO Class 7 standards and supports the overall manufacturing flow.

Key responsibilities

• Examine, classify and batch items for cleaning based on type, soil level and required technique.
• Manually remove stains when necessary before loading.
• Count, load and start washers and dryers, adjusting valves or levers as required.
• Separate damaged items for repair and re‑process returned pieces.
• Sort, count, fold and pack items after drying.
• Restock bulk products, replenish supplies and maintain clean‑room organization (6S).
• Operate industrial laundry equipment safely and follow PPE guidelines.
• Report first‑aid incidents and near‑misses.
• Adhere to GMP, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO Class 7 clean‑room protocols.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and change‑control procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0‑2 years of production experience in a clean‑room or similar regulated environment.
• Preferred experience working in a clean‑room and basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Required skills

• Operation of industrial laundry equipment.
• Understanding and execution of clean‑room (ISO Class 7) protocols.
• Familiarity with 6S workplace organization.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
