Business System Analyst – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Business System Analyst with experience in the CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare or life‑sciences sector to join our fully remote team. The role supports a U.S. based client by defining and documenting data integration requirements for the Partex.AI platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own the definition and documentation of data integration requirements between Partex.AI and internal/external data sources, specifying data flow, triggers, field formats, transformation logic and error handling.
• Determine which integrations should be built on the existing SQL Server Data Warehouse versus Databricks and maintain a migration transition plan.
• Translate integration requirements into detailed specifications for the Data and Technology integration team.
• Analyze data domains (investigator identity, site performance, enrollment history, etc.) to identify the authoritative source of record (SOR) and document conflict‑resolution rules.
• Support MDM and deduplication configuration by articulating business rules for matching and merging investigator and site records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in CRO, pharma, biotech, healthcare or life‑sciences environments.
• Strong ability to produce clear, unambiguous documentation for data integration and business rules.
• Familiarity with data‑warehouse concepts and migration to modern data platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills to align on data ownership and resolution policies.
