BIM Specialist – Electrical Design

About the role

Power Design is seeking a BIM Specialist to support electrical design projects across its portfolio. The role combines BIM modeling, drafting, and coordination to deliver accurate, cost‑effective drawings in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks and related tools.
• Prepare and manage external references (xrefs) such as architectural, mechanical and plumbing drawings for large‑scale electrical projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to ensure drawings meet milestones and quality standards.
• Provide high‑level BIM and drafting support to multidisciplinary teams, including Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Systems Technologies and Prefabrication.
• Ensure model integrity and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• At least two years of hands‑on experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud and Bluebeam.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
• Basic understanding of electrical design principles and the NEC code.
• Fluent written and spoken English for communication with clients and colleagues.
