Associate Plumbing Designer

About the role

The Associate Plumbing Designer at Power Design is responsible for developing plumbing flow calculations, equipment selections, and piping layouts for large‑scale projects. You will work closely with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate design solutions for plumbing systems, applying industry standards while meeting customer needs and budget constraints.
• Provide design direction and support to team members, collaborating directly with Revit CADD technicians to ensure constructability and quality.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and inspection authorities throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Team player with at least 4 years of plumbing design experience.
• Strong knowledge of constructability, mechanical and plumbing design fundamentals, and installation methods.
• Experience sizing water heaters, sump pumps, sewage ejectors, and domestic hot‑water plants.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, submittals, and performing basic plumbing calculations.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; US Visa is a plus for travel.
