Associate Account Executive – Biopharma

About the role

JoVE is seeking an ambitious Associate Account Executive to grow its biopharma business in North America. You will sell scientific video journals and database subscriptions to pharmaceutical, biotech and related companies, helping scientists accelerate research.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for assigned biopharma accounts, from prospecting to closing.
• Generate new pipeline through outbound calls, emails and targeted outreach.
• Build and nurture relationships with biopharma librarians, R&D leaders and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with marketing and customer‑success teams to tailor campaigns and support each account.
• Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years of direct selling experience to pharmaceutical, biotech, device or healthcare decision‑makers.
• Proven track record of achieving sales quotas.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Disciplined approach to daily planning and goal setting.

Required skills

• Salesforce (or similar CRM) proficiency.
• MS Office suite proficiency.
