About the role

The Assistant Golf Professional supports the Head Golf Professional in delivering exceptional golf experiences for members and guests. This role oversees daily club operations, instructional programs, and retail activities while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating daily golf and club operations, including tournaments, events, and instructional programs.
• Provide a welcoming and professional atmosphere for members, guests, and visitors.
• Manage golf cart operations, ensuring carts are clean, stocked, safe, and ready for use.
• Supervise practice facilities, maintaining amenities and supplies throughout the day.
• Support golf instruction programs such as group clinics, private lessons, and junior development.
• Monitor pace of play and enforce club standards, rules, and etiquette.
• Assist in tournament and event preparation, handling logistics, scoring, staffing, and communications.
• Perform basic club repairs and maintain inventory of equipment and instructional materials.
• Support retail operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and sales assistance.
• Supervise golf staff with scheduling, payroll processing, performance evaluations, and task follow‑up.
• Facilitate staff training, onboarding, and ongoing professional development.
• Ensure compliance with club policies, safety procedures, and service standards.
