About the role

Moog is seeking an Assembly I to join its production team in San José, Costa Rica. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment where you will contribute to daily plant operations and learn essential assembly skills.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot assembly line machinery and equipment at fixed workstations.
• Install components, parts or sub‑assemblies as products move along the line.
• Move, pack and sort raw materials and finished goods.
• Monitor product quality, identify defects and support re‑work or discard processes.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent (high school, GED, vocational training).
• Limited to no prior experience; less than one year of relevant exposure is acceptable.
• Ability to follow detailed verbal, visual or written instructions.
• Works well under close supervision in a structured environment.

Required skills

• Basic machine operation and equipment handling.
• Fundamental troubleshooting of assembly line tools.
• Quality monitoring and defect identification.
• Accurate production record‑keeping.
