About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Aerodynamics Expert to join our remote team on a contract basis. The role involves tackling complex aerodynamic problems, producing high‑quality technical documentation, and supporting the development of AI‑driven educational content. This position offers flexible weekly hours (10‑40 hrs) and competitive hourly rates.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex aerodynamic challenges and provide detailed technical feedback.
• Develop, review, and maintain advanced technical documentation related to aerodynamics and CFD.
• Contribute to the refinement of educational materials to improve AI model learning.
• Participate in peer‑review processes, offering critical analysis and quality assurance.
• Collaborate remotely with other experts to optimise workflows and best practices.

Required profile

• PhD in aerospace or mechanical engineering with a focus on thermofluids or aerodynamics, or a BS degree with extensive relevant experience.
• Proven track record of technical writing for reports, articles, or documentation.
• Experience in peer review, technical evaluation, or consultancy roles.
