Accounting Controller Manager

About the role

Genpact is seeking an Accounting Controller Manager to lead journal entry processing, account reconciliations, and month‑end/quarter‑end close activities. The role ensures strict adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory standards while supporting audit and compliance efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
• Manage monthly and quarterly close processes in line with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and accounting policies.
• Support audit documentation, coordinate with external auditors and consultants.
• Collaborate with finance teams to deliver accurate reporting and analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in controllership and financial accounting, preferably supporting operations in Costa Rica.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with external service providers, auditors, and tax advisors.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP reporting and IFRS.
• CPA or CPI certification is mandatory.
• Fluent in English (B2‑C1 level).
