2D Animator – Brand Studio

About the role

Amazon Devices is seeking a talented 2D Animator to join its Brand Studio team. You will create high‑impact animated assets that help customers understand and engage with new device offerings across Amazon.com, email, mobile, and offline channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce high‑fidelity 2D animations and motion graphics for product pages, marketing emails, and retail displays.
• Collaborate with producers, designers, writers, and cross‑functional stakeholders to develop concepts and execute final assets.
• Maintain strict adherence to Amazon and Amazon Devices brand guidelines and style guides.
• Manage multiple projects, variations, and feedback loops while ensuring attention to detail.
• Gather and organize design assets, and communicate progress to project owners.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of professional experience as a 2D Animator or in a similar role within interactive agencies, design studios, or tech companies.
• Proven ability to work iteratively, accept feedback, and improve designs quickly.
• Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Photoshop, video editing tools, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrated expertise in 2D animation and motion design.
• Ability to create end‑to‑end, user‑centered design solutions for desktop and mobile platforms.
