2D Animator – Brand Studio

About the role

Amazon Devices is seeking a talented 2D Animator to join its Brand Studio team. You will create high‑impact animated assets that help customers understand product features and drive engagement across Amazon.com, email, mobile, and offline channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce high‑fidelity 2D animations and motion graphics for product pages, marketing emails, and retail displays.
• Collaborate with producers, designers, writers, and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate concepts into polished motion assets.
• Manage multiple animation projects, incorporate feedback, and ensure delivery aligns with Amazon and device brand style guides.
• Maintain organized asset libraries and communicate progress with project owners.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of professional experience as a 2D Animator or in a similar role within interactive agencies, design studios, or tech companies.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines, and comfort presenting to stakeholders at various levels.
• Proven ability to iterate quickly based on feedback and deliver high‑quality motion work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Photoshop and video‑editing tools.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, etc.).
• Solid 2D animation and motion‑graphics techniques.
