About the role
Costa Adventures is seeking a proactive Senior Travel Planner to lead its sales team and design bespoke travel experiences for international clients. The role blends itinerary creation with a strong commercial focus, turning inquiries into memorable trips while maintaining high service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design and quote tailor‑made itineraries for B2B travel agencies and B2C travelers.
- Manage sales inquiries via email, phone, and video calls, converting leads into confirmed bookings.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a small sales team, ensuring quality and timely delivery of proposals.
- Analyse sales performance, set targets, and drive achievement of revenue goals.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to guarantee smooth trip execution.
- Maintain excellent communication in English and Spanish throughout the sales process.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years experience in tourism, DMC, or incoming travel agency.
- At least 2 years of leadership experience managing small teams.
- Strong commercial mindset with a passion for tourism and high‑end travel.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and serve high‑profile clients.
Required skills
- Proficiency with TourPlan (WETU is a plus).
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English; Spanish proficiency preferred.
