Senior HR Manager – Costa Rica

About the role

Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes division is building a new site in Costa Rica and is looking for a Senior HR Manager to lead HR initiatives in the Alajuela area. The role partners with business leaders to execute strategy, improve organizational effectiveness, and drive talent attraction and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Support business operations, strategy execution, and organizational effectiveness across the Costa Rica market.
• Coach and advise business leaders on talent management, organizational design, and change management.
• Address complex organizational challenges by providing strong HR leadership aligned with enterprise goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements in partnership with regional and global stakeholders.
• Lead talent attraction, employee engagement, and retention initiatives for the new site.
• Influence commercial and operational initiatives while supporting DePuy Synthes’ mission to deliver innovative orthopedic solutions.

Required profile

• Senior HR professional with proven experience in HR business partnering.
• Demonstrated expertise in talent management, organizational design, and change management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills in a multinational, fast‑changing environment.
• Experience in the healthcare, medical‑device, or related industry is preferred.
