Senior Creative Engineer

About the role

The Senior Creative Engineer leads high‑quality digital production design across multiple platforms, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and innovation. You will independently manage complex, multi‑channel projects while mentoring junior team members and shaping design systems and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee creation of production assets for site/app maintenance, image processing, digital advertising, motion graphics, email production, and presentations.
• Drive end‑to‑end project ownership, aligning deliverables with creative, brand, and technical standards.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level Creative Engineers, providing feedback and coaching.
• Collaborate with creative leads, project managers, and clients to improve workflows and elevate output.
• Ensure rigorous quality assurance, proactively identifying design or technical issues.
• Contribute to evolving design systems, templates, and guidelines for consistency and scalability.
• Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and technologies, recommending innovative approaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Advertising, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in digital production design for agencies, studios, or startups, preferably with international clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently with strong attention to detail.
• Leadership mindset with experience mentoring peers and influencing cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Motion design tools – After Effects, Adobe Animate (Celtra/Orca Plus a plus).
• UI/UX design tools – Figma, Sketch.
• Presentation tools – Keynote, PowerPoint.
• Basic web technologies – HTML, CSS, JavaScript (optional).
• Collaboration and workflow tools – Slack, Jira, Asana, Trello, Basecamp, Zoom, Google Drive.
