Mid Performance Engineer – Performance Testing

About the role

Coforge is looking for a Mid Performance Engineer to design, develop, and execute performance tests for our applications. You will work closely with development and QA teams to ensure systems meet scalability and reliability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run performance test scripts using JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
• Conduct load, stress, spike, and endurance testing to validate system performance.
• Monitor application behavior, identify bottlenecks, latency issues, and resource constraints.
• Analyze test results, produce performance reports, and recommend optimizations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot performance‑related problems.
• Support performance tuning across applications, databases, and infrastructure.
• Contribute to best‑practice documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in performance testing or engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one tool such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
• Solid understanding of performance metrics (response time, throughput, CPU, memory).
• Basic knowledge of APIs, SQL, and web technologies.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability platforms like Grafana, Dynatrace, or New Relic.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in agile, cross‑functional teams.
