Mid-Level Designer – International Operations Center

About the role

Gensler’s International Operations Center (IOC) Lab is seeking a mid‑level Designer to join its global team. You will collaborate across continents to develop innovative, technically sound design solutions for a variety of projects worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the design process, from concept to construction documentation.
• Coordinate with design teams, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and vendors to meet project objectives.
• Produce high‑quality documents that convey design intent and technical detail.
• Research, select and specify building materials.
• Contribute to office initiatives, learning programs and maintain productive client relationships.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an architectural practice.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods and structural systems.
• Proven leadership, communication and relationship‑management abilities.
