Legal Specialist – Remote Contract Role

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis. The role involves providing expert legal analysis and guidance across commercial contracts, employment law, structured finance, private equity, and M&A transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and redline commercial contracts to ensure legal accuracy and business alignment.
• Provide expert input on employment law, structured finance, private equity, and merger & acquisition matters.
• Evaluate SaaS Master Service Agreements (MSAs), identify risk areas, and recommend improvements.
• Interpret complex regulatory requirements and develop compliance guidelines.
• Assess data‑privacy policies against international standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate legal concepts into clear, actionable written feedback.

Required profile

• Active Bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum years of practicing law with a proven track record in commercial contracts, employment law, and structured finance.
• Deep knowledge of private equity, M&A, and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex legal issues.
