Guest Experience Guide

About the role

We are a small 5‑star boutique resort on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast near Dominical, seeking a full‑time Guest Experience Guide to lead daily guest activities such as surfing and yoga. The role is year‑round and focuses on creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate guest‑focused activities, primarily surfing lessons and yoga sessions.
• Assist first‑time participants, providing patient coaching to help them catch their first wave.
• Ensure guests feel welcomed and cared for throughout their stay.
• Collaborate with the resort team to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Drive or arrange transport as needed and walk to activity locations.

Required profile

• Costa Rican citizen or legal resident.
• Conversational English.
• Genuine passion for teaching, coaching and interacting with people.
• Comfortable swimming and a valid driver’s license.
• Own transport or willingness to arrange it, and openness to relocate to Dominical.
• Solution‑oriented team player eager for new challenges.
