Front End Developer – AEM Web Applications

About the role

The Front‑End Developer will build and maintain AEM‑based web applications, translating designs into functional, high‑quality front‑end code. You will work both independently on routine tasks and collaboratively on more complex features, providing regular status updates to senior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Convert graphical designs and wireframes into styled markup for AEM components using HTL, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Develop and maintain reusable front‑end components in React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Implement data exchange between application layers and AEM components.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing web applications.
• Provide accurate task estimates and progress reports to senior or technology leads.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge‑sharing sessions and documentation of best practices.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development processes.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
• React (or Angular / Vue.js)
• Cross‑browser and cross‑device compatibility, responsive and mobile‑first design
• Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) – HTL, Sling Models, JCR, Clientlibs, Touch UI Dialogs (Granite UI, Coral UI)
• Understanding of MVC architecture and object‑oriented development
