Financial Analyst – Reporting & Data Modeling

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Analyst with strong analytical and data‑modeling expertise to own the weekly revenue reporting process and support monthly P&L and forecasting activities. The role combines finance knowledge with advanced Excel and SQL skills to deliver reliable, repeatable reports that drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Produce a weekly revenue report in Excel and Word, integrating data from multiple sources using SQL queries, Power Query and data‑modeling techniques.
• Manage financial data collection, analysis, and reporting for monthly P&L statements and forecasts.
• Identify control risks, evaluate their impact, and implement improvements to strengthen controllership.
• Provide timely insights for business reviews, monitor forecast accuracy, and analyze variances with clear commentary.
• Lead weekly/monthly financial close activities and maintain planning and reporting models.
• Conduct ad‑hoc business analyses, financial modeling, and present strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Identify, design, and execute opportunities to automate and simplify finance tools and processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related analytical field.
• Proven track record building financial and operational reports that inform decision‑making.
• Experience creating process improvements through automation and analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Power Pivot, advanced formulas, Power Query).
• SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with large‑scale reporting tools such as Essbase and Cognos.
• Stakeholder management across multiple organizational levels.
• Preferred: Python programming and Pandas library.
