Financial Analyst – Global Finance Solutions

About the role

Amazon's Global Finance Solutions (GFS) team is looking for a Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis across multiple finance and business services verticals. You will partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly P&L analysis, financial reporting, and forecasting.
• Develop and track operational performance metrics.
• Support monthly/quarterly close activities in coordination with accounting teams.
• Measure and report progress on business goals and prepare inputs for business reviews.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses, financial modeling, and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable/Receivable and other finance verticals to ensure controls and procedures are applied.
• Identify and drive process improvements to enhance controllership.

Required profile

• 4+ years of finance experience, preferably in corporate finance, budgeting, planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Proficiency with Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA.
• Demonstrated ability to use data to influence business decisions.
• Experience working with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
