Commercial Director – CAMCAR Cluster

About the role

The Commercial Director will lead the commercial strategy for the CAMCAR cluster, based in Costa Rica, driving sales growth and profitability across multiple countries. This senior position combines strategic planning, market execution, and leadership of cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the cluster’s commercial, trade and revenue strategy to meet short‑ and long‑term targets.
• Deliver sales targets across CAMCAR countries in line with overall cluster objectives.
• Coordinate sales, marketing and distributor management activities to ensure market alignment.
• Strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regional and global teams.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and promote an ethical, patient‑centric culture.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Health Sciences or related field; Master’s or advanced business qualification preferred.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with proven sales and marketing expertise.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical markets, distributor‑based models, and retail/public sectors.
• Experience in multi‑country, highly regulated markets is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated analytical capability, strategic mindset, and financial acumen for commercial decision‑making.
• Excellent organizational, communication and relationship‑building skills.
