Accountant II – General Accounting

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant II to join our General Accounting team. The role supports multiple entities in a shared‑services environment, handling end‑to‑end ledger processes and contributing to a safe, sustainable and connected business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, perform reconciliations and support month‑, quarter‑ and year‑end close activities.
• Manage fixed‑asset accounting, cash management, intercompany transactions and related reporting tasks.
• Analyze accounting discrepancies, recommend corrective actions and ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date process documentation and assist internal and external auditors.
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders to resolve issues and improve accounting processes.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives across the finance function.

Required profile

• 2‑4+ years of experience in General Accounting or Record‑to‑Report (R2R) roles.
• Experience in a shared‑services setting supporting multiple entities is preferred.
• Academic background in Accounting, Finance or a related field (degree completed or in progress).
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Demonstrated integrity, accountability, teamwork and a drive for innovation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (or similar ERP) for accounting functions.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
