About the role
West Monroe is looking for a Software Engineer II to join its Technology and Experience practice in Costa Rica. You will work on a variety of client projects, ranging from bond trading platforms to mobile applications, collaborating closely with product teams to deliver high‑quality software.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and maintain full‑stack software applications.
- Engage with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to iteratively deliver features and improvements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of full‑stack development experience.
- Strong grasp of object‑oriented concepts, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative Agile environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel internationally on an as‑needed basis.
