Sales Travel Representative (Remote – Costa Rica)

About the role

TravelXM is seeking a proactive Sales Travel Representative to manage relationships with U.S. host travel agencies and their independent contractor advisors. This remote position, based anywhere in Costa Rica, involves a blend of strategic partnership development, advisor recruitment, and direct sales of Costa Rica land programs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new host agency partnerships, progressing them through a staged ladder from awareness to strategic alliance.
• Prepare and submit preferred‑supplier applications, including insurance certificates, contracts, and override schedules.
• Negotiate inclusion in host preferred‑supplier directories and elite partner programs.
• Conduct outbound prospecting to individual advisors using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Clay enrichment tools.
• Make approximately 80 cold calls per day and convert advisors through discovery calls and sample itineraries.
• Travel 30‑40% of the time to host conferences, familiarization trips, and regional roadshows.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with a builder mindset, able to execute a 90‑day plan and scale successful tactics.
• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the travel or hospitality sector.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
• Willingness to travel regularly for industry events.
