About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Professor to join our remote education team on a contract basis. You will create high‑quality assessment content that challenges graduate‑level students and supports our AI‑driven learning platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and author rigorous single‑option assessment questions in mechanical engineering.
• Translate advanced mechanical engineering concepts into challenging, exam‑quality items.
• Develop detailed explanations and rationales for each answer choice.
• Review and validate the technical accuracy of AI‑generated materials.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the content team to refine and improve question quality.
• Conduct quality checks and revisions on contributed materials.

Required profile

• PhD or MS in Mechanical Engineering with university‑level teaching experience.
• Proven experience authoring, grading, or reviewing graduate‑level exams or coursework.
• Ability to convert complex mechanical engineering principles into exam‑ready content.
• Background in assessment design or educational content creation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
