Opex Engineer I

About the role

Baxter is seeking an Opex Engineer I to support tactical planning and drive efficiency across its manufacturing plant. You will work on projects that improve resource utilization, material flow, and overall production capacity while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support and execute tactical planning processes to optimize plant capacity.
• Measure, evaluate, and improve line capacity and production standards.
• Design and implement capacity models for data recording and analysis.
• Lead improvement projects that streamline floor layout, eliminate non‑value‑added tasks, and increase line throughput.
• Promote compliance with GMP, GDP, and EHS regulations.
• Generate operational reports and support facility‑wide efficiency management systems.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to quality, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues affecting product quality or process consistency.
• Proactive mindset aligned with Baxter’s culture of courage, trust and collaboration.
• Willingness to promote a safety‑first environment and adhere to EHS procedures.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
