Logistics Service Representative – Customer Service

About the role

The Logistics Service Representative provides front‑line support to members by handling inbound and outbound calls related to transportation requests. The role combines high‑volume call handling with coordination of transport services using CRM tools, ensuring members receive timely and personalized assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Answer 80+ inbound calls daily in a courteous, professional manner.
• Make outbound calls to follow up on transportation inquiries and resolve issues.
• Coordinate transportation arrangements through CRM software and maintain accurate records.
• Document all customer interactions, complaints, and actions taken.
• Dispatch transportation assignments and manage vendor partnerships.
• Perform clerical duties such as faxing, copying, emailing, and filing.
• Update program databases while adhering to policies and procedures.
• Meet or exceed performance standards, quality objectives, and key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a contact‑center environment.
• Ability to handle high call volumes (80‑90 calls per day).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient English communication (95%+ accuracy).
• Professional telephone etiquette and strong attention to detail.
• Capability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and follow contractual turnaround times.
• Reliable internet connection (minimum 30 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload) for remote work.
