Junior Sourcing Officer – Global Delivery Center

About the role

As a Junior Sourcing Officer in Newmont’s Global Delivery Center, you will support the smooth operation of global sourcing activities. You will maintain accurate supplier data and help drive process improvements to enable cost‑effective, timely supply‑chain decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, maintain, and reconcile supplier data on cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability.
• Provide accurate performance information to meet sourcing service standards.
• Support process improvements and new tool implementations to streamline workflows.
• Assist in auditing and monitoring activities to resolve data‑quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve sourcing efficiency.

Required profile

• Technical qualification or degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply‑chain operations (shared services experience preferred).
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Ariba preferred) and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of sourcing processes and supply‑chain fundamentals.
• High attention to detail and adherence to structured workflows.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities.
