Freelance Statistics & Python Expert for AI Training

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Statistics and Python expert to design and develop computational problems that help train and evaluate AI systems. The role is project‑based, remote, and offers flexible hours.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational statistics problems that simulate real mathematical research workflows.
• Create Python‑based problem sets using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and SymPy.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
• Base problems on real research challenges or practical applications in number theory, combinatorics, graph theory, and numerical analysis.
• Verify solutions programmatically and document problem statements with clear, correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Statistics or a related quantitative field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in applied statistics, research, or teaching.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
• Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS, CAP) are a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• NumPy, SciPy, SymPy, Pandas.
• MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Stata (any equivalent).
