Financial Analyst – Global Finance Solutions

About the role

Amazon's Global Finance Solutions (GFS) team is looking for a Financial Analyst to drive financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. You will partner with business and accounting teams to deliver accurate insights that support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly P&L analysis, financial forecasts, and reporting packages.
• Support month‑end/quarter‑end close activities in coordination with accounting.
• Measure and report progress on key business goals, providing data for business reviews.
• Develop and maintain operational performance metrics and dashboards.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses, financial modeling, and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Identify process improvements to enhance internal controls and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• 4+ years of finance experience, preferably in corporate finance, budgeting, planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to convey insights to diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
