About the role

The Cleaning Assistant (TA) supports CooperSurgical’s facilities by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in designated areas, including clean rooms and other controlled environments. This role is essential to ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and medical industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, polishing, brushing, and disinfecting surfaces, furniture, floors, walls, windows, and other designated areas.
• Follow established regulatory procedures and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) policies.
• Complete required documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
• Adhere to company dress code and clean‑room entry guidelines.
• Restock cleaning supplies as needed and properly maintain cleaning equipment.
• Handle and dispose of waste according to company policies and medical industry standards.
• Report any damage or repair needs promptly.
• Support team members and assist with business‑related events.
• Maintain work area using 5S principles.

Required profile

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical operations.
• Flexibility to work rotating or flexible schedules.
• Capability to interpret safety labels and instructions for cleaning chemicals.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 kg, stay active throughout the shift, and frequently use stairs.
• Competence in managing multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting supervisor deadlines.
