Statistics & Python Expert – Freelance AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a Statistics & Python expert to join our network of freelance AI trainers. You will create and validate computational statistics problems that help evaluate and improve AI systems for leading technology companies.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational statistics problems that simulate real mathematical research workflows.
• Create Python‑based problem statements using libraries such as Numpy, SciPy, and Sympy.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
• Develop problems that require non‑trivial reasoning in number theory, combinatorics, graph theory, or numerical analysis.
• Base problems on real research challenges or practical applications from mathematical practice.
• Verify solutions with Python and standard mathematical libraries.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Statistics or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1+).
• Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS, CAP) are a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with Numpy, SciPy, Sympy, Pandas.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, or Stata.
