Accounting Reporting and Consolidation Lead

About the role

Genpact is seeking an Accounting Reporting and Consolidation Lead to oversee the monthly close, consolidation, and reporting processes for its North American entities. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, you will coordinate internal accountants and third‑party service providers to ensure accurate financial statements and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and communicate the month‑end closing calendar and lead status calls.
• Close various ERP modules in line with the corporate calendar.
• Prepare narratives for balance‑sheet variance analysis and ensure thorough commentary.
• Collaborate with Business Units on special operating and reporting requirements.
• Lead financial reviews with corporate controllership, RR Operations, and third‑party providers, including pre‑closing and post‑closing activities such as BPC account reviews, flux analysis, and audits.
• Act as liaison for RTR projects, prioritize resources, and manage finance‑related project deliverables.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial consolidation, reporting, and month‑end close processes.
• Strong understanding of corporate accounting policies, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work with internal teams and external service providers.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for variance analysis and stakeholder collaboration.
