Systems Verification Engineer – Integrated Flight & Propulsion Control

About the role

Avionyx, a subsidiary of Joby Aviation, is seeking a Systems Verification Engineer to support the Integrated Flight and Propulsion Control System (IFPCS) for the JAS4-1 eVTOL aircraft. You will work on both automated and manual verification activities to ensure the flight control subsystems meet performance and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Author and execute automated and manual verification test scripts.
• Perform data reduction, analysis, and generate test reports.
• Report, resolve, and track problems through closure.
• Collaborate with software, system test, test equipment, and flight test teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace preferred).
• Relevant project or internship experience demonstrating systems engineering knowledge.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Exposure to modeling and simulation using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Excellent verbal and technical writing skills in English.
• Self‑starter attitude with strong collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
