Software Engineer III – SaaS Development

About the role

Granicus is seeking a Software Engineer III to join its fast‑paced, supportive team. This role is ideal for developers early in their careers who want to contribute to production SaaS systems while taking ownership of test automation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to deliver SaaS‑based solutions.
• Maintain and expand automation test suites and contribute production code.
• Improve processes, design, and architecture of existing products.
• Conduct technology feasibility studies and propose innovative product ideas.
• Design secure, performant, scalable, and highly available solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across deployment, networking, configuration, databases, performance, stability, security, and application logic.
• Mentor team members, provide technical training, and help onboard new hires.
• Champion the development team’s core values.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience developing, testing, shipping, and supporting production‑quality SaaS web applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
