Senior Manager, Project Management

Walmart Global Tech is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Management to lead multiple complex, cross‑functional initiatives that drive sustainable business outcomes. The role requires a strong leader who can translate strategy into execution while building high‑performing, inclusive teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple large, cross‑functional projects and programs across the organization.
• Anticipate process gaps and identify value opportunities by benchmarking best practices and leveraging data‑driven insights.
• Define priorities, remove obstacles, allocate resources, and manage risks to ensure disciplined execution.
• Develop, prioritize, and coordinate project work plans aligned with program and business goals.
• Forecast and manage resources, budgets, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with schedules and financial targets.
• Monitor performance, track progress, and communicate status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project intake, prioritization, and execution governance.
• Drive informed decision‑making by identifying risks, assumptions, and mitigation strategies.
• Oversee communication strategies and ensure alignment with sponsors, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
• Continuously improve workflows by establishing standardized practices, documentation, and sign‑off processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multiple large, cross‑functional projects or programs in complex environments.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, shifting priorities, and changing business demands.
• Strong data‑driven mindset with the ability to leverage insights for decision‑making.
• Excellent communication, influence, and leadership skills at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated experience building, developing, and leading high‑performing teams.
• Experience supervising and developing teams, and leading change initiatives.
