Senior Lifecycle Marketing Strategist (Klaviyo Expert)

About the role

The Senior Strategist, Lifecycle Marketing will design and execute retention‑focused strategies for high‑growth DTC ecommerce brands. Working as an independent contractor, you will partner with internal teams and client stakeholders to drive measurable revenue growth through email, SMS, segmentation, experimentation, and loyalty initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies and roadmaps aligned with client goals and performance data.
• Identify and implement automated flows, campaign plans, segmentation frameworks, and cross‑channel opportunities.
• Analyze program performance, provide actionable insights, and recommend improvements to boost retention and revenue.
• Serve as a strategic advisor, leading client discussions, presentations, and addressing complex marketing challenges.
• Monitor scope of services, manage resource constraints, and ensure recommendations fit contracted hours.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align strategy with execution and provide feedback on ongoing initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in lifecycle or retention marketing for ecommerce, preferably with Shopify brands.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for client advisory and internal collaboration.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently while managing multiple client accounts.
