Senior IT Security Controls Assurance Analyst

About the role

Experian is seeking a Senior IT Security Controls Assurance Analyst to evaluate and test the effectiveness of security controls across on‑premise and cloud environments. You will ensure controls are properly designed, implemented and compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security control assessments using documented activities and regulatory criteria.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases and procedures, leveraging data from security tools.
• Use queries and dashboards to identify potential control failures.
• Document findings, root‑cause analysis and remediation recommendations.
• Serve as primary liaison with business stakeholders, providing clear progress updates.
• Integrate lessons learned and partner feedback to improve the testing program.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• 3+ years of IT audit or security control testing experience.
• 5+ years in Information Security or IT.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
