Issue Management Lead Analyst – Internal Audit

About the role

The Issue Management Lead Analyst will act as the primary liaison for internal audit reviews within the USCC Controls Audit Management Team. This role ensures that audit fieldwork, testing, and issue tracking are conducted in line with USCC standards, coordinating across business partners and audit stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact before and during internal audit engagements, preparing business readiness materials and managing audit meetings.
• Coordinate the flow of information between internal audit teams and business units, ensuring timely delivery of requested data.
• Maintain and update audit issue tracking systems, capturing issue details, corrective action plans, and delivery dates.
• Develop and maintain dashboards reporting audit status, results, trends, and issue closure metrics.
• Provide root‑cause, trend, and thematic analysis of audit findings to support remediation efforts.
• Facilitate quality control engagements throughout the audit lifecycle and ensure compliance with management policies.
• Utilize analytics to identify audit trends, key risks, and opportunities for process improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal audit coordination, issue management, or controls monitoring.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience producing dashboards and reporting metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with senior leadership and diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of audit governance processes and regulatory compliance standards.
