Sys Admin / DevOps Engineer – IT Infrastructure

About the role

The Mobility Center of Excellence is looking for a highly technical Sys Admin / DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure that supports mobile application development and certification. You will work closely with development and delivery teams to ensure fast, reliable, and secure mobile app delivery across macOS and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Ansible codebase (Playbooks, Roles, Collections) and write automated tests with Molecule and Testinfra for the macOS Mac Mini fleet.
• Integrate Conjur Cloud for secure storage and dynamic retrieval of secrets, using the cyberark.conjur lookup plugin.
• Gather system metrics, identify problematic Mac Minis, and automate remediation and provisioning of replacement hardware.
• Retire end‑of‑life machines and implement zero‑touch onboarding for new macOS nodes.
• Monitor and improve DevOps tools, automate routine tasks, and add Ansible‑driven self‑healing mechanisms.
• Keep the CI toolchain (Xcode, Homebrew, SDKs) up to date and resolve build or deployment issues.
• Evaluate and potentially deploy CI services on Azure or macOS‑specific cloud providers.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features into the build and release process, including automated hooks to the Enterprise App Store.
• Manage iOS and Android code‑signing processes, handling certificates and provisioning profiles via Conjur Cloud.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, enforce coding standards with ansible‑lint, and support Git tagging, branching, and merging.

Required profile

• Strong experience with automation and configuration management on macOS environments.
• Hands‑on expertise in secure secret management and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex build, installation, and configuration issues for iOS and Android.
• Proactive attitude toward researching, evaluating, and integrating new technologies.
