Remote Video Editor for Dental Marketing Agency

About the role

We are looking for a remote Video Editor to join the Story Media team at PFDM, a dental‑only marketing agency. You will transform raw interview and in‑office footage into polished video assets that power paid‑media campaigns, website content and social posts for dental practices across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Edit raw footage supplied by the Producer into finished videos that meet quality and timing standards.
• Maintain consistent pacing, music, captions and visual hooks, especially for short‑form (15‑90 seconds) social ads.
• Organise project files and media according to Story Media’s workflow.
• Identify missing assets, unclear briefs or technical issues early and communicate them.
• Follow creative direction from the Producer/Video Editor and quality guidelines from the Head of Story Media.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of video‑editing experience in an agency or high‑volume environment.
• Strong sense of pacing, music selection and hook creation for short‑form content.
• Excellent written English for asynchronous briefs and feedback.
• Reliable high‑speed internet and a personal editing workstation capable of handling the workload.
• Availability to overlap with US business hours; include your time zone when applying.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for titles and basic motion graphics (nice‑to‑have).
• Fundamentals of audio cleanup and colour correction.
• Strong file and media organization practices.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Asana, Frame.io and Riverside (nice‑to‑have).
