Senior Software Engineer II

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer II you will own a core component of GreenSlate’s enterprise platform that modernises content production workflows. You will work remotely from Costa Rica within a high‑performing, craft‑focused engineering team that values clean code, SOLID principles and rigorous peer review.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in daily stand‑ups with teams in NYC, LA and Costa Rica.
• Write clean, maintainable code using C#.NET, React, TypeScript and MS SQL.
• Submit pull requests with thorough context and provide high‑quality code reviews.
• Practice Test‑Driven Development (TDD) for relevant features.
• Engage in pair programming, architecture design and technical documentation.
• Take technical ownership of a meaningful portion of the application.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong passion for software craftsmanship and a collaborative mindset.
• Professionalism, maturity and a solid work ethic.
