Senior .Net Application Developer

About the role

Walmart Finance Tech is looking for a Senior .Net Application Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑quality, scalable applications that support the company’s digital transformation and financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy .Net‑based applications in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborate with architects and business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient C# code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing .Net (C#) applications.
• Strong experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and SQL performance optimization.
• Hands‑on experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, JSON schema design, and TypeScript frameworks (React, Next.js, Angular).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Kubernetes), Git, and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud‑native architectures (Azure, GCP or AWS) and security, performance, and scalability best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
